About
I’ve been Oil Painting since Art School around 1990. And even after close to 35 years of little to no success, I’m still delusional one day it will come.
My somewhat new perspective as an artist, is it’s kind of my responsibility to make art that’s a reflection, or response to this moment in time in history on Earth. Decades after I’m dead, and people are wondering what it was like to live through the 2020’s. I want my art to help inform how profound the time was.
What influences my art today in random order is, Physics, Zen, Positivity, Van Gogh, Philosophy and current events. Beyond that, I want to push forward a childlike wonder of everything, and somehow represent that visually in painting.
